Is he allowed to answer this? Esta doesn't know. Figuring it out seems hard. All of his short-range goals and heuristics seem invalidated and/or to know that any next thought he thinks will probably be a heretical one. Even that would be easier for his mind to process if there was any remaining clear reason to follow any of those rules, as is of course itself a heretical thought.

Maybe Asmodeus Himself could not see here with the connection to His cleric severed, unable to retrieve Esta no matter how he prostrated himself.
