Obedience and serving Asmodeus's best interests comes naturally to her.  She doesn't actually think about the consequences before she throws herself in front of the sword.

It's not what she wanted she can't even be Maledicted but Elysium didn't look that bad after all there are people who'll hurt you there even if they don't mean it.
